1. Are you sure…? আপনি কি নিশ্চিত…?
Person A: I want to quit my job and start my own business. (আমি আমার চাকরি ছেড়ে নিজের ব্যবসা শুরু করতে চাই।)
Person B: Are you sure about that? Starting a business can be a big risk. (আপনি কি নিশ্চিত? ব্যবসা শুরু করা একটি বড় ঝুঁকি হতে পারে।)
2. Are you used to? আপনি কি অভ্যস্ত?
Person A: How do you like living in the city, are you used to noise? (শহরে বাস করতে কেমন লাগে, আপনি কি গোলমালে অভ্যস্ত?)
Person B: It’s great, but I’m not used to all the noise yet. (এটি গ্রেট, তবে আমি এখনও সমস্ত কোলাহলে অভ্যস্ত নই।)
3. As far as… যতদূর….
Person A: What do you think about the new restaurant? (আপনি নতুন রেস্টুরেন্ট সম্পর্কে কি মনে করেন?)
Person B: As far as I know, it has great reviews. (আমি যতদূর জানি, এটির দুর্দান্ত ফিডব্যাক রয়েছে।)
4. As far as… (is) (am) (are) concerned.…
Person A: What do you think about the new employee? (আপনি নতুন কর্মচারী সম্পর্কে কি মনে করেন?)
Person B: As far as his qualifications are concerned, he seems like a good fit for the job. (যতদূর তার যোগ্যতার বিষয়ে, তাকে চাকরির জন্য উপযুক্ত বলে মনে হচ্ছে।)
5. Be careful with… (এর) সঙ্গে সতর্ক থাকুন,
Person A: I’m going to start cooking dinner now. (আমি এখন রাতের খাবার রান্না শুরু করতে যাচ্ছি।)
Person B: Okay, just be careful with the knife. (ঠিক আছে, শুধু ছুরি নিয়ে সতর্ক থাকুন।)
6. But this doesn’t mean that…
Person A: I heard that David got a promotion. He must be really smart. (আমি শুনেছি যে ডেভিড একটি প্রমোশন পেয়েছে। তিনি সত্যিই স্মার্ট হতে হবে। )
Person B: David is definitely talented, but this doesn’t mean that he didn’t work hard for it. (ডেভিড অবশ্যই প্রতিভাবান, তবে এর অর্থ এই নয় যে তিনি এর জন্য কঠোর পরিশ্রম করেননি।)
7. By the way… যাইহোক
Person A: I’m going to the store to buy some milk. (আমি দোকানে দুধ কিনতে যাচ্ছি।)
Person B: Oh, by the way, can you pick up some bread too? (ওহ, যাইহোক, আপনি কিছু রুটি নিতে পারেন?)
8. Compared to… (এর) তুলনায়…

9. Did you used to… আপনি কি (কাজ) করতেন?

10. Don’t ever… কখনোই (কাজ) করবেন না।
Person A: I’m thinking about dropping out of college. (আমি কলেজ ছেড়ে দেওয়ার কথা ভাবছি।)
