Simple future tense(কাল) বলতে বোঝায় Verb Tense-কে বোঝায় যা ভবিষ্যতে কোনো এক সময়ে ঘটবে এমন কোনো ক্রিয়া বা ঘটনা বর্ণনা করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটি Main Verb-এর বেস ফর্মের পূর্বেModal Auxiliary Verb “will” যোগ করে গঠিত হয়।
When describing an action or occurrence that will take place in the future, the verb tense known as the simple future is utilised. It is created by placing the modal auxiliary verb “will” in front of the main verb’s base form.
Form(গঠন):
Positive form: Subject + will + base form of the verb + obj

Some Positive form sentences example:
- I will eat burger tomorrow. (আমি রোজ ফিজ্জা খাই)
- He will buy a new car next year. (আমি রোজ ফিজ্জা খাই)
- She will open the door.(আমি রোজ ফিজ্জা খাই)
Negative form: Subject + will not / won’t + base form of the verb

Some Negative form sentences example:
- I will not eat a burger tomorrow. (কাল বার্গার খাবো না।)
- She won’t open the door. (সে দরজা খুলবে না।)
- The train will not arrive at 5 PM tomorrow. (আগামীকাল বিকেল ৫টায় ট্রেন আসবে না।)
Question form: Will + subject + base form of the verb

Some Question form sentences example:
- Will you eat a burger tomorrow?(কালকে একটা বার্গার খাবে?)
- Will she open the door?(সে কি দরজা খুলবে?)
- will he finish his work before leaving?(যাওয়ার আগে সে কি তার কাজ শেষ করবে?)
ছোট্ট কুইজ:নিচে আরো কিছু বাক্য দেয়া আছে। যেগুলো form/গঠন সূত্র দেখে তোমরা নেগেটিভ এবং প্রশ্নবোধক বাক্য বানিয়ে ফেলো। যেমন, বাক্যে “I will eat burger tomorrow.” এটা পজেটিভ। আর আর এটার নেগেটিভ Form করলে হবে ‘I will not eat a burger tomorrow”. এবং এটা প্রশ্নবোধক হবে “Will you eat a burger tomorrow?”😃
- I will eat pizza tomorrow.(আমি কাল পিজ্জা খাবো।)
- Will you be attending the conference next week? (আপনি আগামী সপ্তাহে সম্মেলনে যোগদান করা হবে?)
- She will not come to the party tonight. (সে আজ রাতে পার্টিতে আসবে না।)
- They will finish the project by next month. (আগামী মাসের মধ্যে প্রকল্পের কাজ শেষ করবে তারা।)
- He won’t have time to go to the gym today. (আজ তার জিমে যাওয়ার সময় হবে না।)
- She will finish her homework before going to bed. (বিছানায় যাওয়ার আগে সে তার বাড়ির কাজ শেষ করবে।)
- They will arrive at the airport at 9 pm. (রাত ৯টায় তারা বিমানবন্দরে পৌঁছাবেন।)
Usage(ব্যবহার):
simple future tense বাসাধারণ ভবিষ্যৎ কালটি ভবিষ্যতে ঘটবে এমন কর্ম বা ঘটনা সম্পর্কে কথা বলতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটি ভবিষ্যদ্বাণী, প্রতিশ্রুতি বা অফার করতেও ব্যবহার করা যেতে পারে।
For example:
- I will study harder next semester. (Promise: আমি পরের সেমিস্টারে আরও কঠিন পড়াশোনা করব। প্রতিশ্রুতি বলা হচ্ছে)
- The weather will be sunny tomorrow. (Prediction: আগামীকাল আবহাওয়া রৌদ্রোজ্জ্বল হবে। এটি একটি অনুমানমূলককথা)
- Will you come to my birthday party? (Offer: তুমি কি আমার জন্মদিনের অনুষ্ঠানে আসবে? অফার করা হচ্ছে)
Guide words(কিছু নির্দেশিকা শব্দ):
Some common signal words used with the simple future tense include “will”, “shall”, “probably”, “maybe”, “certainly”, “likely”, “possibly”, and “hopefully”. However, signal words are not always necessary for the simple future tense to be understood.
নির্দেশিকা শব্দসহ বাক্যের উদাহরণ (For example):
- Will: I will see you later. (পরে দেখা হবে।)
- Shall: Shall we dance? (আমরা কি নাচবো?)
- Probably: They will probably arrive late. (তারা সম্ভবত দেরিতে পৌঁছাবে।)
- Maybe: Maybe I will go to the gym tomorrow. (হয়তো আমি আগামীকাল জিমে যাব।)
- Certainly: She will certainly pass the exam. (সে অবশ্যই পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ হবে।)
- Likely: It’s likely that he will be there. (সম্ভবত তিনি সেখানে থাকবেন।)
- Possibly: It’s possibly going to rain later. (পরে বৃষ্টি হবে।)
- Hopefully: Hopefully, I will get the job. (আশা করি, আমি কাজ পাব।)
